Take ordinary tap water and pressurize it to 60,000 psi (4,000 bar) and force it through a very small hole. Mix the water with garnet abrasive and you have a very thin stream of watertraveling very fast that will rapidly erode most materials.

Some waterjets are "pure waterjets" and don't add the garnet abrasive. These are used to cut softer materials, such as food, rubber, and foam.

Cutting and piercing delicate Brass works is not a problem with Flow waterjet technology.

Cutting and piercing delicate Foam works is not a problem with Flow waterjet technology.

Cutting and piercing delicate Copper works is not a problem with Flow waterjet technology.

Cutting and piercing delicate Carbide works is not a problem with Flow waterjet technology.

Jets of water are driven at up to 3 times the speed of sound through a high pressure hose at amazing levels of pressure up to 60,000PSI to create the precision cuttings that can be achieved.

Cutting and piercing delicate Rubber works is not a problem with Flow waterjet technology.
